“Say hello to Randy! After retiring from a 37-year career, he and his wife, who both studied in Redding, CA, found themselves exploring fresh opportunities. A pivotal moment came when a phrase—’Civility Goes Viral’—resonated with Randy in a way he couldn’t ignore. During class one day, deeply stirred in his spirit as our country was in the midst of COVID and race tensions, Randy began the journey to investigate how this concept could bring positive change to society.”
Thus the birth of Civility Goes Viral, a non-profit organization. “Imagine a society where civility, respect, and unity prevail, even in the face of differences. Our initiative is dedicated to fostering constructive dialogue, teaching children the importance of civility and promoting hope and significance. We aim to counteract name-calling, develop informed language for tough issues, and create school clubs for civility. Our core values are kindness, respect, significance and the freedom to make informed choices. Join us in building a better world where everyone’s voice is heard, and together, we can make meaningful progress and positive change.”
Say hello to Linda! She has been married to Randy for 43 years. She was the domestic engineer juggling and raising 4 children and managing a very busy household. She brought the world into their home as they hosted six different exchange students from around the world.
She is a lover of people. She is an amazing hostess and loves to serve the community. She thrives at loving people where they are at and excels at calling out the best in those she meets. She has witnessed first-hand the dire need for civility in our communities to resolve so many cultural challenges.
